After the Rwandan genocide we conceived the idea that if women whose husbands had been murdered partnered with women whose husbands had been imprisoned, we would fund their businesses as a mean of bringing healing to the country.

Almost 20 years later, Sager Ganza is a now a group of seven micro banks that provide loan and banking services to small businesses based in Rwanda.Although we have expanded beyond the original purview, Sager Ganza now empowers any high potential entrepreneurs (mostly women who lead42% of Rwandan businesses) with the opportunity to make a difference in their lives and in their communities.
