Together, we learned that by making a difference in the lives of others,

we made an even bigger difference in our own lives.

“My hero is not necessarily the president of a country or a prime minister or a cabinet minister. It is the ‘ordinary people’ that see a broken world and decide to make a difference in the lives of others. Those are my heroes.”

~ Nelson Mandela

HOPE IS A GAME CHANGER

In many developing countries, it is common for children to repurpose string and old garbage bags into soccer balls. To these children, soccer is much more than just a game. Hope is a Game Changer provides children with the opportunity to earn indestructible soccer balls. Each child is required to participate in programs like Grassroot Soccer, Esperance and Carolina for Kibera, which use soccer as a platform for teaching life skills before they can trade their old ball in for a new one.

HANDS UP NOT HANDOUTS

Hands Up Not Handouts provides female artisans in Palestine and Rwanda the opportunity to combine their traditional handicraft techniques with modern designs to create exquisite handmade jewelry pieces that can be sold to discerning buyers around the world. This project elevates the creative economy, brings the artisan narrative to the world stage, and creates access to global markets for entrepreneurial women in Africa and Palestine.
